Mar 26, 2012 A seamless, real-time battle system that maintains a strategic, party-oriented format Players are confronted with a variety of dramatic situational battles such as executing a daring escape while a gigantic ogre follows in hot pursuit, or waging battle amidst towering tsunamis.
Walkthrough overviewSo what we have here is a walkthrough for Infinite Undiscovery. Infinite Undiscovery is a bit different from your typical JRPG, in that the encounters aren't random. You don't transition to any battle screen or anything, battles occur in real time. The story.leaves something to be desired, but the gameplay itself holds up well.
The achievements are quite a commitment though. We have to play through the game 3 times, once on normal difficulty, then hard, then infinity, as hard/infinity do not unlock until you've beaten the previous difficulty. One of those playthroughs has to be a Compulsive achievement playthrough, where we acquire all 881 items in the game. There's a bunch of miscellaneous achievements, some of which are missable and some aren't, but 3 playthroughs means we have 3 chances to pick them up.
This is how we will go about things.1. Playthrough on normal.
We'll pick up most of the missable achievements here where they are easiest and blaze through the story.2. Playthrough on hard. Here we will do compulsive, which means getting every item, getting all the item creation level achievements and a bunch of other misc. We will also go through the Seraphic Gate and beat the Queen. We will have 49 of 50 achievements when we finish this playthrough.3. Playthrough on Infinity. All we do here is blaze through the story, then powerlevel a bit and boost our HP to beat the Queen again.
Traversing Graad Woods (Continued)Part TwoItems to FindRed Berry Potion, Burguss Apple (x2), Blue Berry Potion, Rotten Fruit (x2), Medical Herb (x2), Miraculous Medicine (x2), Black Berry Potion.Enemies to BattleOrder Jolier, Order Hound, Giant Wasp.As you go, however, you'll have to deal with three types of enemies. The first, most dangerous type of enemy you'll encounter are in the form of Order Hounds. These enemies are tough, aggressive attackers that will require some tenacity to defeat. Since they come in numbers and surround you, Spinning Waltz is a great attack to use on them over and over again until they are eliminated (Aya should help you with some incidental damage as well). The other two types of enemies are much easier to deal with.
You'll run into more Order Joliers, basic infantry units you've killed many times leading up to these woods. The other, Giant Wasps, are airborne enemies that can only take a couple of swipes from your sword before falling to the ground dead.En route through the linear pathway, you'll also find a number of items. In treasure chests, you should find a Blue Berry Potion, a couple Miraculous Medicines, and a Black Berry Potion. You may also notice some flowers sticking out of the ground as you walk around. You should encounter two of these. Be careful not to swipe at them with your sword, but instead examine them with your sword sheathed. If you do, you'll find Medical Herbs to add to your inventory. The only other items you're going to encounter as you traverse the pathway come in the form of fruit already fallen from trees.
These Rotten Fruit, when acquired, will make you irresistible to one kind of enemy in particular - Giant Wasps. Luring them to you and killing them over and over again is a great way to earn some money and experience, but it's going to get monotonous after a while, so walk away from the area where the fruit was found in order to lose the lure and proceed on with your mission. Not surprisingly, the pursuing enemy party is eventually going to catch up with you. When this happens, be ready for a fight. All while you attempt to escape. Since you can't fight the ogre (you'll notice you do no damage when you attack him, no matter which attack you employ), you'll need to deal with the lesser residual enemies as you dash along the path towards its ultimate conclusion. The ogre is going to catch up with you occasionally, but he's easy enough to dodge, and since Capell should be at level three by the time this final enemy encounter in the woods takes place, the ogre shouldn't be doing nearly the amount of damage he was during the prison escape.
Order Joliers and Giant Wasps should be eliminated posthaste as you run. And worry not - though Order Hounds are shown in pursuit as well, you won't actually have to fight them in the woods again. When you reach a pre-determined location, the escape will come to an end, but not before a fairly lengthy cutscene reunites Aya with her friends, and by association, brings Capell into the mix as well.
